I called Nick for a quote on Thursday, explained what I wanted and was told it would be $15. I then went into his shop with my graphics and he told me he could definitely print up my shirt and that it could be done that night or early Friday. Friday at 5:30pm he still hadn't let me know it was ready so I called because we were near his shop. He said "oh ****, I forgot", he was on his way to a 60th bday party and instead of doing my shirt first he went to the party. He said it would be done in a few hours. Come 10:30pm I called again and it still wasn't done, he hadn't even left the party for his shop yet. I had to be up for my event at 6:30am Saturday morning. Finally around midnight he was in his shop and working on my shirt. Fast forward to around 12:30 am Saturday and he still wasn't done. He had previously offered to drop it off because it wasn't done in time. I check my email and have a $30 paypal money request from him, called and let him know he told me it would be $15. He proceed to get in an argument with me wanting to know if I still wanted it because it was done. I said yes, I need it for my event but no way am I paying $30 when he told me $15. Then he told me that no one else would have stayed up that late to do my shirt, no one else would give me that price and no one would have delivered it. He offered to deliver, he gave me a price, and it was his fault he was up so late working on it. We had this big argument on the phone during which he told me he would display it as a piece of his artwork in his shop if I didn't want it. Ummm, no I provided all the graphics, which my husband designed. Then he told me he would rather turn it inside out and use it as a RAG then take the loss. Then he said he was in my place at one time, implying I was a new business needing his help, he knows nothing about my business. His wife even grabbed the phone at one point telling me she was tired and we needed to stop arguing, I either had to take the shirt or they were going home, talk about unprofessional. She listened to my side and convinced him to give me the shirt for $20, needless to say I was not happy but I needed the shirt for my event and no way was I going to find someone else to print me one up with only 6 hours til the event. So finally at 1am I had the shirt in my hands. I will never do business with him again and let everyone know how horrible he was. If you misquote suck it up and take the loss, don't curse at your customer and tell them you would rather use their item as a rag.
