Aurora Glass

we bought windows from home depot and put in ourselves, as the glass company was late, not so get up and go and skittish, on dollar amount. so the windows look good and were done right, by us.

After getting quotes from Home Depot and lowes, we were beginning to think the triple Paine casement windows we wanted were out of our price range, that was until we spoke with Fred at aurora. The quote we got from him was $2000.00 less than lowes for a much better window. We did have to order the windows, witch took about 3 weeks to come in, but once they arrived, they promptly came out and installed them all in one day. There were a fiew minor things that I was unhappy with.... They got a little spray foam on the shower curtain and did not clean it off, they cut one of the cable lines on the side of the house and did not fix it, they disconnected another line from the side of the house and did not reattach it, and did not install exterior trim on a window that I had installed last year even though they said they would. Other than that, they did a good job and at a price much lower than the big box stores.

We had several bids and the bid we were given by Aurora Glass was slightly lower. Several of the thresholds had to be built up (the original contractor apparently cut corners), which Aurora Glass did at no additional cost. One of the windows had a small crack when it arrived from the manufacture , which Aurora Glass repaired as soon as the manufacture sent the required product. We had a concern this spring; Aurora Glass was very quick to address it - it turned out to be a roofing issue and nothing to do with the window installation. We are very happy with our experience with Aurora Glass and will gladly recommend this company.
