AMERICAN PEST MANAGEMENT

The cost varies for their services. The guys that come out and do the work seem to be very experienced, but their front office is a disaster. It took a day to complete the work - not too long. The workers are great; they're good guys. They just have a real organizational problem in their office and they need to know that.

They were out to treat my old apartment for cockroaches three times. I only interacted with the tech one of those times, but he was prompt, polite, professional, friendly... A+ in that department. However, when I asked him about treating the whole building he confirmed that this is, in fact, recommended. And it hasn't happened. Management says it's because American Pest never told them this was necessary... but I'm not so sure I believe them.
Anyway, I went to American Pest looking for information about how to move without taking the cockroaches along. Both Larry and Michelle were most generous with their time and gave me lots of good advice, which I followed. They also said they'd be able to come out to the new place and do a preventative treatment without a day or two of my booking the appointment. I very much appreciated all of this and found both Larry and Michelle to be professional, appropriate and, as stated above, incredibly generous with their time.
...however, once I called them to actually schedule said preventative treatment, things changed. Suddenly they are too busy to even call me back and book the appointment (even if it were to be several weeks out). The first time I was told that Michelle was out, but would be back to do the bookings later that day or the next ... but nobody ever got back to me. A couple of days later I followed up. I was told that she was still out and would return to do the bookings shortly (sound familiar?) ... when I calmly and politely mentioned that was what I was told the last time, the receptionist launched into a long, angry/frustrated sounding justification of how busy they were. Okay... I get that, but you could still book the appointment, couldn't you? Anyway, it's been another few days and they still haven't called me back.
Michelle and Larry were both so helpful the first time I was in, I find myself wondering if the problem is actually the receptionist. Maybe my request never got past her? Or maybe the others just decided not to bother with one person when they could deal with landlords of large complexes instead. I have no idea.

They were excellent. They were always prompt. They always called me if they were going to be late. They called me to remind me that they were coming. They were always willing to work with me in case I got late from work. They were always very careful. They took their shoes off when they came in the house. I was very pleased with them.

The price was not the cheapest but not the most expensive. I called them and the sent me an invoice.
