Perfectly. The 2 movers were prompt, professional, and personable. They completed the job in less than the expected time and their cost came in under estimate. We have made many moves throughout the continental United States, 3 between Alaska and the Lower 48 and 4 between England and the USA. The service we received from Alice’s Relocation is close to the top of our moves. We would definitely use Alice’s Relocations again and highly recommend the company.

We are a family of six that just moved to Alaska. We chose Alisons Relocations due to their responsiveness to all of our questions, their on-line reputation and they had the best price of the five estimates we received. It has been about 2 weeks since we received our items and cars in Anchorage. The care they took in packing our 200+ boxes showed by having a damage-free delivery. Most impressive was the true respect and professionalism we received from the crew while in our homes. Thank you for the very best experience Team Alison, Leo, Kavin, Nimo and House! The Riley Family.

The crew was friendly and professional. Unfortunately, they did damage our hardwood floors and driveway. We've done enough moves to know that accidents happen. However, this company is an absolute trainwreck when it comes to dealing with claims. After three phone calls they finally sent out their handyman to look at the damage and take pictures. He left and the company didn't contact us. Two more phone calls and we were finally told that he couldn't fix it and that WE needed to find three different companies for quotes. After submitting quotes we were again not contacted. I was told to submit via email and couldn't even get them to confirm that they had received it for almost a month. I was told that Alison was the only one who handled claims and she was never in the office and never returned phone calls. 5 months later, I still don't have any resolution on the driveway either. After refusing to get their own estimates they claimed mine was excessive and now it's winter in AK and repairs and quotes can't be done until spring. It took over three months just to get the claim for the floors approved. Part of the agreement was that they would provide movers to move the heavy furniture so the floor could be refinished. This time my dining floors were damaged. I immediately submitted an estimate for repair. This one was approved much quicker.
Description of Work: They were subcontracted by the military to deliver our household goods.

The initial meeting was with there surveyor Ben McDaniel. His estimated weight was spot on with the actual weight they picked up so there were no surprises. During that visit he gave us ideas as to how to pack some of the items we were not sure how to pack. All of the paperwork we received once we scheduled the move was very professional and provided an outline of all the services they would provide and at what cost. Movers were on schedule, clean and the most professional crew we have had in our 9 moves. Delivery took place as scheduled and the movers on the NJ side were just as awesome as Alison's movers in Anchorage. Not one item received a nick or a scrape!

If your moving and both price and quality matter then call Alison's. We moved a family of 5 to New Jersey from Alaska; two trailer loads. Not one item was damaged and the price was unbelievable, no other moving company was able to come near there pricing in our research and we had 8 companies quote us. Top notch SERVICE from the beginning to end. We recommend Alison's Relocations!

Excellent service by Alisons. I was paying by the hour for 2 guys and a truck to unpack a Relo Cube and deliver my household goods to my house. The 2 employees, House and June, worked hard and quickly and the cost was less than I expected. I would call them again.

Not only did Alison's provide bad service, they provided no service at all. Company told me they'd pick up my mattress between 2 and 4PM. After taking time off work to meet them, they never showed. I called their office at 4:20PM and was told the moving crew was "on their way". 4:45PM rolls around and they haven't arrived. 5PM passes, still nothing. I called again at 5:30PM, only to receive an answering message stating the business hours: 8AM-5PM. It's bad enough to be late, or force me to reschedule and miss even more work. But, not showing up at all? Not calling to reschedule? What a joke. In terms of price, I just received a quote for half of what Alison's quoted, with more services included. Avoid Alison's like the plague...

At my old home, the movers came and packed the removable automotive seats. They also picked up the many boxes I had packed. I purchased the extra insurance in case. They gave me a call about the insurance I had purchased. They mentioned that the insurance won't be valid if the shipment arrives and the driver leaves before any damages were discovered. At the time they called, the shipment hadn't left yet. I thought it was a strange thing. So, the insurance were removed as they said that it won't help much. So, I thought they were trying to save me money by not using insurance. I was thinking that the shipment would be best to put into a storage unit rather than the residence, which was a mile away. They had to charge me $150 for the destination address change, even though the storage place would be easier to unload and was closer than at the original destination. I thought it was a bit high, but it was the transporting company end that charges that amount they said. The driver came by at the storage place and dropped the pallets off. Much of the boxes were smashed, but the initial inspection did not show damage, excpet one of the seats. I called Allison's Relocations, they suggested that I go get quotes for the repair. I found one that is more reasonable at around $400 after driving around between two counties and several towns. However, their standard insurance covered only $40 of it as it was calculated by weight. I had to accept the small sum as the purchased insurance was cancelled by them and there no other option readily available for resolution. I was out around $400 needed for the repair. They apologize for the damages, but it would be best if they could repair the seat entirely. I unpacked the rest of the boxes and found damages on two items, a crack on the plastic turntable cover and broken crystal figurines. However, the seat was more costly to repair than the others. I would re-consider Allison's Relocation twice unless they are the last resort. I would like to be clear about the insurance, especially when they had my stuff afterwards when they cancelled it and not before when I purchased the extra protection. I had also would like not to have the boxes smashed neither as I later found the damaged items packed well inside the boxes.

The guys who packed my stuff were slow and careless. They took hardware from my furniture and lamps and threw it in the wrapping or just didn't bother to pack it. They didn't wrap some stuff and lost or broke some items. I am normally a great tipper but I did not give these guys a dime. That should tell you how bad they are. They expect 100% payment up front but don't make you aware of that. It took 2 months for my stuff to get here. Don't use this company if you value your belongings.

Alisons collects 100% up front before they start delivery of goods - They promise a time of delivery and when you call on the date promised, the excuses range from the time of year to the payment not being processed in time. The president of the company states that "we do not promise delivery dates" and "I'm lucky, some people are waiting past 6 weeks for their goods to be delivered". This company was chosen for thier method of transport (overland vs. barge), price and most importantly, delivery time - promised 21/2 to 3 weeks - 3 weeks later, "call next week and we'll give you a delivery date". With payment up front, there is no urgency to deliver as promised. DO NOT USE this company for your move. Military member moving for work.

This was the BEST move that was done in all of my 25+ year career. As you can imagine, moving as well as retiring can be very stressful especially at the same time! Not to mention, moving your home while your spouse has already relocated to the lower 48!However, your team (from Val to the packers) were professional, courteous, and ensured our household items were treated with care. Our crew of packers were the best!Since I chose to use their full service option, i was a bit uneasy about my choice since I had never had an option like this before. I can honestly say this choice worked very well for me. Having our home packed and moved from Alaska to Arizona via ground transport, I planned that a few items would break (that's just what the norm was). Well, I can report having received delivery this past Friday and spending the last few days unpacking that all the "breakables" we have NO damage!!!The driver from Hi-Line (Roger) and the crew that unloaded in Arizona were equally as professional as your crew in Anchorage. I was very impressed with their professionalism and the care they took unloading and positioning/ reassembling our items...So in closing, I want to share the appreciation for the OUTSTANDING service this company has provided! I would certainly recommend this compnay to anyone who asks! You will thank them for a true professional moving experience...

We could not be more pleased with the move Alison's gave us from Eagle River, AK to Prospect, KY. Out of all the things moved, I found only one small broken drinking glass and that was a box I had packed myself. I can't believe the great condition of all our furniture, clothes, art, small items, tools, etc, etc, etc,. The moving company that brought everything in the house couldn't believe it either. They had never seen things packed so well for a move. And to come across the ocean and then across country; well, it was just unbelievable. The crew did such a wonderful job of wrapping, loading, etc. We were very pleased with Alison's Relocations from the very beginning and until the end. If we ever move back to Alaska we will call Alison's Relocations and ask them to handle everything.

The company made it know that they could not work with my time schedule that I had to accommodate them. We took off work to do so and they showed up 7 hours late. When they got to the house they informed me that they had left part of my shipment in Palmer and would have to return the next day. Which was the day we had originally requested. Once at my house the owners daughter began saying unkind things about me to one of the staff unloading items in my home. Very unprofessional. Ultimately most of my shipment was delivered. Some of the boxes were lost and have not been found. Overall the staff was very rude, the owner attempted to make nice, but didn't get the job done. This was the worst moving experience I've ever had. I would never use them again.
