This company did a fantastic job. We originally scheduled the job in July and due to unforseen circumstances they were flexible enough to push the time frame out further to accomodate my schedule. Start to finish including bad weather they were in and out in a few days. They also caulked and sealed all of my windows and doors, double coated the south side and T-111 and triple coated my trim. Their attention to detail is fantastic and the crew is pleasant and easy going. I would highly recommend this company to anyone in the market for exterior house painting.

I telephoned ICI Paint in Anchorage for references for prepping and repainting the trim on a house I own. I contacted several contractors, received bids, and evaluated bids. I selected Ace Painting to do the work. I contacted them and let them know I had selected them. They contacted me to set up the time and details. They were to begin the work, approximately a two-day job, on a Friday morning at 10:00 a.m. At 10:00 a.m. on that Friday, the day and exact time they were to begin the work, Ace Painting contacted me and cancelled the job. I was told they were busy with other work, someone was leaving town, and there was rain in the forecast. I had already notified the other contractors that the job was given to another bidder. Given the lateness in the season I am now unable to get this work done. Had they turned down the job because they were overcommitted or for any other reason there were several other bidders who would have had the opportunity to get the job and I would have had my work completed. It is now going on a week since the work was to be completed and I have yet to see the precipitation. I try to hire and buy locally but when the end result is unprofessional and unreliable, as in this case, I wonder, why bother.
