+ -1 moreDon't use these people! They destroyed my vintage Airstream door assembly and refused to replace it. They wanted to use some patching Bondo like material that they had never used before, and when I gave them over a year to replace it or pay me, Darla and accounting told me that they don't owe me anything because I wouldn't let them gum pucky it! If they are licensed and insured and bonded they should have just filed a claim and paid me but now I have to take them to court over an $800 hard to replace vintage door assembly. They have been rude and dismissive and I cannot recommend them at all to anyone ever especially if it's something you value, they have not proven to be trustworthy nor do they show good faith in business practices! If I were you I would hire anybody else you can but them!

+ -1 moreGreat, took some time to disassemble then reassemble, but job was completed. No cost warranty claim where Cannon Safes sent part to locksmith to fix safe.
Description of Work: Was through Cannon Safe Warranty claim, the locksmith they had on file would not return calls. I then researched locksmiths in the area and found Able Locksmiths. Their service rep for cannon safes was perfect and did everything needed to the point that Cannon made Able Locksmith the new authorized locksmith for them in the Anchorage/Mat-Su area.

Description of Work: The tech finished his previous job early, called me and asked if he could start early or to come over at the scheduled time. Of course I let him start early. He re-keyed two locks and fixed on of them. Said it was upside down, cut two keys. Tested everything to make sure it worked. Done in 35mins.

Description of Work: They rekeyed my exterior door locks, installed an electronic lock on my front door, and tried to fix a sticking door handle. |I'm a little unhappy with the new lock as it won't lock if the door is shut all the way. |I noticed the first time I tried to lock it after the service man left. He had loosened the screws in the strike plate. I tightened them, but that made it worse. It tells me he knew the lock didn't work properly, but didn't bother to fix it. I will need to fix it before winter so the door will seal. Also, he was unable to fix the sticky handle, and told me it was a faulty spring. Whatever he did made it worse. I will need to install a replacement, but will do the work myself.

Description of Work: I sent a request for an estimate to Able Locksmith using the Angie's List link and had a call the same day from the company. They were able to give me the information and general estimate over the phone and then scheduled me for the date and time I had available. The company representative called on that day to confirm when he was heading my way, arrived as expected, and very quickly took care of the installation of the new locks. He also took some time to show me how the new doorknob and lock works with the fire exit safety feature, which if he had not mentioned I could have easily locked myself out as the new doorknob works differently from the old one.
