They were pretty cheap. They gave me some good advice and did some good work that saved me some money. They did very good and I think they saved me quite a bit of money.

We've used A+ Home Services for over 10 years. They provide great service, taking care of our "business"! Very easy to deal with: punctual, friendly & polite, explain problems, suggestions, never trample our lawn, etc. Highly recommend.

We recently purchased a house that we thought was "move-in ready," as in we wouldn't have to do any remodling or repairs - within 2 weeks of moving in our septic system failed. A+ took care of all the engineering, permitting, and materials procurement for the job. I should have contracted them in the first place instead of trying to piece everything out (which would have been cheaper, but it was a lot more time consuming). They were willing to work us reasonably into their schedule for - basically - an emergency job. They also found issues with our septic system/leach field that the Civil Engineer that the real estate agent hired didn't find. This septic system should have never passed the COSA, which means that house should have never sold to us without a new septic tank/leach field. We were very greatful to have A+ recommended to us and for their understanding/professionalism.

This vendor completed the work within the provided estimated cost of repair and ahead of schedule. They were very responsive to our somewhat urgent needs and promptly responded to all of my calls. They provided us with a sound and accurate diagnosis of the problem and fixed it promptly. We plan to continue to use them for our septic needs. They came to us as recommended by our neighbors and the prior homeowner.

We have a large septic system that hadn't been cleaned out in about 4 years, and we noticed that the downstairs toilets weren't flushing on a Spring day during the great melt-down time of year. I figured it had something to do with groundwater and poor drainage of the septic system, so I called these guys after searching around, and scheduled a service for a Saturday morning about a week or so later. They showed up on time and started pumping right away. It took about an hour to pump it out, and he said it took a little longer than usual because it hadn't been done sooner. We discussed how frequently it should be done for us (probably every 2 years) and how to take care of it in the future. He was friendly and helpful and was gone after about an hour and a half. As for the plumbing issues downstairs in the home, he said yes, that was probably related to high ground-water levels but it should not be a problem any more.

I needed someone to come and check out my septic system. It smelled bad outside and I thought I saw effluence (gross fluid) coming out of the ground. I called, spoke with their receptionist, and she gave me the cell phone of one of their site engineers. I called him and he stopped by on his way to the next job to have a look. He quickly and accurately told me what the problem was and said I could expect to have it repaired in the next day or two. He also explained what would need to be done and that my family didn't need to really change anything until it was repaired, maybe just cut back on water when we could. They came when scheduled, fixed it, and left. I had a bill hanging on my doorknob for a far more reasonable price than I thought. As I'm new to Alaska, I've found that everything is expensive, especially professional craftsman and services. I was pleased that this level of important service was priced so afforably. (and if there was anything I'd pay more for, it would be a septic issue!) Later in the year my system developed a second problem and I called them back. Again, prompt response, accurate diagnosis, quick repair as scheduled and a very fair price. While I hope my septic system doesn't require them to come back too many more times, they'd be my go-to company if it does.

I had several other companies out here and an engineer. From speaking to them I thought my septic system was failing which would have been 15 to 20 thousand dollars to replace. They came out and to check dug up the line from the septic tank to the leech field and found the line was plugged. They replaced the pipe and installed a double cleanout which seems to have taken care of the problem
