Excellent performance by A Plus Contracting. Yong and his crew far exceeded my standards. Very thorough and meticulous. He was on time and efficient. His crew were very hard working and treated our yard and home as if it were their own. I would hire them again without any hesitation.

Within 15 minutes he knew exactly what I wanted and left. I got his estimate a week later, I agreed to it that night, and he started the following day. Literally. Yong’s estimate was accurate, complete, and competitive. He said the work would take 4 days. It took 4 days. Each night his workers would very neatly put away all of their tools and materials. They were always on time, polite yet personable, and in fact helped me decide on exactly what I wanted when it got down to the finer details. This Project went exactly as planned and desired, which if you have ever dealt with a Contractor in the past, you know that it never, ever goes as planned. Showed up when he scheduled. Schedule was critical due to lousy fall weather. Completed project quickly and cleaned up. Was conscientious and made some recommendations. Got approval of slight tint change before proceding. Would hire again.

We had A Plus paint due to the positive reviews here on Angies list. Very glad we chose them. Very professional. Was comfortable around them when they did interior. Our paint job was a larger one and they did a great job. Def. use them again if we need additional painting done.

Very professional crew. They went above and beyond our expectations. It was the little extra things like rehang our plants when they were thru, actually removing exterior door weather stripping and rain gutters, and replacing after painting, and a very thorough job of clean-up afterwards. Good communications throughout the process of when they were coming, and letting us know when they weren't going to come one day due to the weather. Overall very happy with the outcome, and we plan to have them back to do some interior painting later on this year.

We were impressed with A+ from the start. It was easy to schedule an estimate appointment. The estimate was at the low end of several, and half of the "high" received for the job. The home is 5000 sq-ft, and three levels, on uneven terrain. The entire job, from pressure wash, painting, and clean up was conducted with care, both for the structure and adjacent landscaping. The crew size and composition was consistent, and all were very courteous. Numerous questions that came up regarding paint selection were resolved with good on going communication. At one point, we elected to change the garage door color after they were partially painted. Mr. Kil basically started over on the doors, requiring a lot of effort and time. There was no additional charge for this extra effort. The job was completed in less than the time estimated, with only a slight cost increase over the estimate, due to a paint quality upgrade requested by the owners. The finished job looks great. The entire project was conducted in a very professional manner.

Excellent. Mr. Kil's estimate was very reasonable and the quality of the work was excellent. They were able to get the work done about 3 weeks earlier than expected. He and his employees were very professional and polite. He was very careful to protect the garden and other areas from spraying. He even asked the neighbors to move their car. He followed up in a timely manner after the project was done to do some touch-up. I would highly recommend A+.

Arrived on time with several painters who had already power washed and sanded the trim on my house where the paint was chipping off. He and his crew properly taped/prepared and painted the trim on all windows and doors of my two story house. They also painted all the exterior doors another color from the original which was initially done when the house was built in 2010. They were excellent in picking up the old paint that they had peeled off and returning everything to normal before leaving. They did an excellent job and I like them all.

Prompt service from the get go. Very professional. The entire crew was absolutely Great. They did an excellent job getting our home prepared for painting. Working together as a great team the crew was always busy on the job. Each day they cleaned up before leaving, I was impressed. The attention to detail was outstanding when it comes to the finish paint job. My wife especially loves the detail work they did to the doors and house trim. Mr. Kim arranged to meet me the day after I contacted him and was prompt providing a detailed bid within 48 hours. His bid was competitive and fair for the work. He provided references and showed up on time. When he was able to work us in earlier than we had originally expected do to unusually warm weather for this time of year, he asked if it was okay and then both he and his workers arrived promptly and were extremely diligent and polite. He appropriately protected all things from overspray and cleanup was excellent. He met us at Sherman Williams to ensure we got the color coordination that we wanted while also providing helpful insights as to sheen, durability and hide. His crew was kind, conscientious and you could tell that they took pride in their work, often stepping back to admire it as well as to make sure that nothing had been missed. I really can't say enough good things about his team. I got exactly what I paid for and am delighted with the results. I wouldn't hesitate to use his team again.

My husband and I contracted A+ Contracting & Painting, Inc. in the fall of 2015 to paint the exterior of our 3,200 sq ft home in the spring of 2016. Mr. Yong Kil provided us with a free walk through estimate and guidance with choosing colors. Yong and his crew began the high power pressure wash to clean the exterior surface. A week later, Yong and his crew began May 25th promptly at 9 am working diligently 10-12 hour days until the completion of the job on May 28th. He and his crew were specific to attention and detail. The house looked tired and showed its 30 years! Now, it looks absolutely amazing and could pass for being brand new!! My opinion of Yong is very professional, courteous, honest and trustworthy.

1. His crew was PUNCTUAL!!!! They either arrived 5-10 minutes early or within 5 minutes of the scheduled time (if you've had people working on your house, you know being punctual is VERY rare.) 2. His crew cleaned up every night. While working they took precautions to keep debris down to a minimum, they used drop clothes, they covered items (dressers, etc.), and before heading out each night they not only picked up, but swept. 3. Prior to leaving for the day, Yong always let me know he was leaving and walked me through the days progress and made himself available for questions. 4. Yong suggested I get paint samples, from where he buys his paint, to put up on the walls to help select my colors. Though I didn't like paying for numerous samples it was money well spent. I applied the samples in the different rooms. Yong came back to confirm with me on my paint choices and walked around to view them. He pointed out that one of the colors was too dark in the hallway and would be better in the bath. He was right! I'm thankful he said something! 5. Yong is the 5th painter I have hired over the years and he has been the best. I won't be using anyone else but him in the future.

Mr. Kil and his crew were highly professional. They arrived on time with all of their equipment and over a three day period (interrupted by rain once) they completed the job. The standards employed were first rate. They protected all of our non paint surfaces and went the extra length to make sure that they thoroughly painted all the surfaces that we had intended. We had originally requested that he do some additional trim work as well. He explained that he would be more than happy to do that, but shared that in his professional opinion that it would "unbalance" the look of the home. He showed us examples of what he meant and it became obvious that he was right. I would highly recommend A+. They were priced right, came prepared, and did a first class professional paint job on our jome.

Very professional with an attention to detail. Noticed deteriorated trim and rotten window sills. Replacement and repair of these was included in the bid. I chose another contractor and still do not really know why I did this. I think A+ would have provided a much better value for a very similar price to what I paid. Next time I will use A+!

1. Removed wall paper (on two walls) in master bedroom (14x16), retextured walls and then painted room and closet with two colors. 2. Painted entertainment room two colors. Room has 18 ft walls and is approx. 20 x 20' area. 3. Painted stairwell. Approximately 24 steps divided going into basement. Has 18 ' or higher ceilings. 4. Painted dining area (10x12') and formal living room (14x14') one color. 5. Painted two bedrooms (12 x 12' and 12 x 14') and one closet. Both different colors. Mr Kil had several helpers. They did the complete job in three days. I originally had intended to have just the bedroom and entertainment rooms painted but I asked for a quote to paint the other rooms. He was very reasonable and said they could just keep painting and get the job done. They were amazingly fast and very good quality. I was so impressed! Mr Kil is not a big talker but he does a great job and his whole team works quickly and efficiency.

I was not happy with it. I don't think I'm being too picky but I paid a whole of money to get my house painted. When he was finished with it, I was 100% disappointed. He did not get in there because I wanted the garage door painted. The whole half of the front of the house is the garage door. He said that it wasn't included and that I was going to have to pay him more money so he can go and buy paint to paint the garage door. He is the low bidder. I guess I got what I paid for. When he finished painting the wall, I looked at it and I said that it looked horrible. All of those nail holes were it was nailed at didn't show when it was painted gray. Now it's green and they all show. He goes "Yeah, you're right. It doesn't look very good, does it?" I said "It sure doesn't look like a professional job." He got really unhappy about that. There again, if I wanted it fixed, I had to pay more money to have him get his men go back and fill the paint on the nail holes. They went back. I had to pay another $150. He went back the guys filled the nail holes and put another quart of paint over it. Now, it looked fine. He ended up billing me for three times. He comes and he goes something about the deck. I told him that they deck was going to be green. He told me that the deck wasn't included. I said that it was. He said that it wasn't and he showed me the agreement. I come in and looked on my computer because I have a copy of the agreement on there. Sure enough, the deck was included. After I printed it out and showed him that they deck was included, he goes "Oh yeah, I had somebody else's bill. The deck was included." He is a really nice guy but it really doesn't count for much when my house looked as bad as it did. His price was good. He was responsive and he did return my calls.

Yong and his crew did an exceptional job-they came when they said they would and worked hard to get our house done this season. All the recent rain made that a challenge, but they did it. We plan on using them for interior painting this winter. Price was comparable to others.

He scheduled us for the week of August 12 but showed up nearly three weeks early without warning ready to work on the house that day. This was the only glitch. I explained to him when I contracted him that I needed to cut down some large plants that were obscuring the side of the house and a few other things before he started painting. Because he came so early that had not been done. After completing what I needed to do I called him the next day and asked him to let me know when he could come back. He called four days later that he would come the next day to start work, which he did. The job he did was great. His crew was conscientious, careful and very professional. They worked a very long day to see the job done and even swept my driveway to clean up the job site. Before they left I noticed that my front door and the French doors to my deck needed some touch up. I mentioned this to Mr. Yong and he returned the next day to do the work. I was very pleased with the entire job and would definitely recommend him.

I read the reviews on Angie's List, but also has a co-worker hire A+. The job they did on her house was outstanding, so I got an estimate and had A+ paint my house. The experience was terrific. Their arrival was rain-delayed for several weeks, but once they got on site, it was two days for prep and all the work. Staff was courteous and professional, working until 10 PM the first day to get ahead of the next rain storm. I would recommend Yong and his crew to anyone needing their house painted.

Some of the painting was very high up near the peak of the roof. The guys showed up on time, were very nice and worked late a couple times to get the job done. We were very impressed with how hard they worked. We would certainly recommend them to others.

Very well. He is very promt, professional, courteous, etc. he preps very well and cleans up behind themselves.

This job was done beautifully. I was extremely impressed with the care they took doing the masking of elements not to be painted (some new steel accent siding, some 12"x 12" cedar post and beam work, some trim that did not need to be painted, lighting fixtures, perennial plants, decking, hot tub, etc...). I haven't found one area of overspray on any of elements that were not to be painted. The staff was efficient and very polite. It was a joy to have them on site. I only gave them a B on the punctuality because they arrived a couple of hours later than they said they would to perform the power wash on Sunday. They were very punctual on Tuesday and Wednesday. With this extraordinary stretch of good weather, they were working as many jobs back to back as they could. This is a great group of folks and I highly recommend them. Very kind, conscientious, efficient.

Yong Kil, owner of A Plus, was one of a few painters that came by our office to give us an on-site bid. Unlike the other painters, he brought with him an impressive packet of written recommendations from former customers. He advised us which paint to choose based on our carpet and trim choices, and we were willing to trust his opinion. It turned out better than expected. From getting an estimate to completion, I think the process took no more than a week. Yong and an assistant painted in one day. They were quiet, quick, and left the room tidier than anyone expected. The paint job itself is excellent and has held up very well, especially considering that the conference room itself was built in the 1960s and gets a lot of use. Overall, my coworkers and I were thoroughly impressed and felt very good about hiring him. If I ever need painting in my own home, I will call A Plus first. I think it's also worth mentioning that many of the folks in his recommendation packet state that Yong and his crew are very trustworthy and have no trouble painting while an owner is not home.
