Description of Work: I called Diane weeks in advance and set up an appt. for a move out cleaning. I called her the day before the scheduled cleaning to confirm. Fifteen minutes after the scheduled time, I called her to see if she had arrived at the house and she said that she "could not do the job, it's too big, and the house is too dirty". Really?! Yes the house was dirty, that's why we needed it cleaned! There were several people in and out of the house helping with the move so, again, yes, the carpets were a mess as no one took off their shoes before moving furniture or heavy boxes. She left us in a HUGE bind since we had renters moving in the next day! We had other cleaning specialists come in and give us estimates for a move out cleaning and they didn't have any problems with the house. Diane just didn't want to do the cleaning and canceled AT THE LAST MINUTE. Sooooo unprofessional and sooooo unreliable! Save yourself the frustration and don't call! She promised but wouldn't deliver! And... to make matters even worse, she didn't call me to say she wouldn't do it; I had to call her! IF YOU WANT A RELIABLE HOUSE CLEANING SERVICE, CALL SOMEONE ELSE!

+ -1 moreI was very pleased with all areas in the home as Diane completed all the tasks in the home including tile and wood floors throughout the home looked spectacular., The kitchen cabinets and counters were brought back to life and looked amazing! I was able to show the home right away and it rented the same weekend! Thank you Diane
Description of Work: I use Aafordable regularly to clean a rental home in Anchorage approx 2700 sq ft , 4 bed , 3.5 baths and large kitchen needing special attention to the counter tops and tile floors.

+ -1 moreShe cleaned all the easy stuff (dusting, counters, sweep, mop), but she didn't touch any of the stuff that I really wanted her to do, like behind the fridge, stove, oven and everything I didn't have time to do. You really have to watch these people, and I didn't have time to come back and do a walk through, so she got away with it.

+ -1 moreDiane was very prompt in returning my original call, and we arranged a date and she gave me an estimate. We had just finished painting and re-carpeting the house and there was dust EVERYWHERE. She did a fine job considering the amount of dust. She was here about 3 1/2 hours, and actually charged me less than originally quoted. I thought we might continue to use her on a regular basis, but a team I had contacted previously became available and their schedule better met my needs.
Description of Work: Cleaned the entire house after construction.

+ -1 moreI contacted Diane and she came to look at our home. I requested cleaning every other week. I thought everything went well in the "interviewing" process. She said she would start on Saturday, Jan 26. Prior to the day she was to arrive, I sent her an email requesting that she bring a copy of her bonding certificate. (She said she was bonded and the advertisement said she was bonded). When she did not arrive at the agreed time, I left a message on her cell phone. No response. I have still had no response either to the email or the voicemail. When I am looking for someone to clean my home, I am looking for an honest, reliable and conscientious person.

+ -1 moreBoth places were pretty dirty, and I know the owner worked pretty hard, but both places required additional cleaning after the fact. The bathrooms in our new house looked like they had just had a cursory wipe down, lots of mess behind the toilets, ect. There was also some misunderstanding on dates and times. The owner seemed like she was stretching herself pretty thin (working very late hours) which may have contributed to the job not being quite up to par. I think that she's a good house cleaner, but this time it just didn't work out well for us.
Description of Work: Performed a move-out clean and a move-in clean for us.

Description of Work: Cleaning of the entire house. Vacuum, dust, wash floors, cleaned kitchen, cabinets, tiles, microwave washed walls of two bathrooms as requested. Did a thorough job! Very nice and up-beat person. Can't say how good this experience was!

+ -1 moreDiane is wonderful. She has done weekly, bi-weekly, and move out cleanings for me. If I need cleaning done, she's the one I call. She is super affordable and does a wonderful job. She was running late for my move out cleaning and called to let me know. Please keep in mind that she is the only person running her business, so you can be certain that your things stay where they are when she cleans. She always answers the phone with a courteous "Hello, this is Diane". I would recommend her to anyone who needs their house cleaned or a move out cleaning done.
