Our normal completion timeline on most jobs is only 1 to 2 days. We do not hire or use any subcontractors; all of our crew members are full time employees and have been trained to meet our company’s standards. Our payment policy also sets us apart: No Money Down Required. Full payment due only upon completion and complete customer satisfaction. Unfortunately, at this time we cannot accommodate small jobs such as: gate repairs, fence repairs, and jobs less than 50 linear feet. We have also discontinued the installation of residential chain link fences due to the low demand.

"White Hog re-did my fence in April 2024. Issue 1 - they did next to nothing to clean up when they left. I spent an afternoon picking up 3 inch nails that were scattered all over my yard. I picked up close to 100 of them. Some of them I didn't find until weeks later. I have a 3 year old and a 1 year old. Issue 2 - my daughter was 4 months old at the time; it also rained a lot. The functionality of my sprinkler system wasn't top of mind. I knew at least one section of my system wasn't working correctly, but didn't take time in the moment to investigate. Early 2025 - I tested all of my sprinkler systems and there were several major issues. 1.) Multiple wires had been cut clean through. 2.) a pipe had been severed by concrete from a fence post. The irrigation specialist concluded that all $527 worth of damage had been caused by the negligence of the fencing company. Jonathan and I had several professional conversations and he had every opportunity to do the right thing. At one point I even asked for $150 to help out, which frankly was a bad deal for me. He not only never paid me a dime, but refused to even admit guilt or even apologize. Use White Hog if you're okay with taking big risks, such as being screwed out of hundreds of dollars due to sloppy work. Otherwise, I'd probably look elsewhere."

Welding is the process of using extreme heat—and, sometimes, pressure—to attach two pieces of metal. In contrast, metal fabrication is a more involved process that can include welding, sheet metal work, bending, and other forms of metal manipulation. Metal fabrication is a large-scale project that may or may not involve welding, while welding is more often a step in larger fabrication projects.

Aside from labor costs, some other charges you’ll need to pay include the cost of the welding material and the cost of the shielding gas that makes welding possible and safe. Most home electrical systems can only handle MIG welding, which creates weaker bonds than TIG welding and won’t work on certain metals or metal thicknesses. Both welding forms usually require the use of shielding gas, which can be dangerous to store at home. Additionally, welding machines create temperatures of over 3,000 degrees, and the sparks can blind you if you don’t have the proper equipment. As such, it’s usually better to hire a professional welder for your welding projects.
Some states require welders to be licensed and certified, while others don’t. However, it’s always a good idea to hire a licensed welder, regardless of requirements in your area, especially if you need welding for structural components of your home or gas lines. Licensed welders have gone through training and testing to prove their skills, so they’re less likely to make a mistake that could be detrimental to your home.
