When you think about sprucing up your home, you probably begin by focusing on what’s on the inside, but the exterior is just as important. Not only is your landscaping a big part of your home’s curb appeal, the right plants and hardscapes can easily turn your yard, garden, or patio into a little slice of paradise.
To give you a little bit of inspiration, we’ve rounded up 15 of our favorite Instagram accounts that give us some serious landscape envy. These creators each take a different approach to making their landscapes striking and each have different spaces to work with, from lush acreages to slivers of urban lots. But what they have in common is that they will instantly make your Instagram feed more beautiful (and don’t blame us if they inspire you to head to the nearest garden center ASAP).
Adam Robinson is a Sydney-based landscape and interior designer who regularly showcases the gorgeous green gardens he designs. Don’t be intimidated though: Many feature accompanying how-to blog posts with tips so you can create some of the magic yourself.
Landscaper Peter Falkner shares his stunning finished products on this account. Full of neutral fixtures and simple green gardens, his designs seem totally attainable yet still so aspirational.

If bright colors are more your thing, then you might already follow Kiel James Patrick, a New England influencer who posts photos of bright pink flowers, rich leaves, and perfectly manicured lawns in the area (that is, when he’s not posting photos of his adorable family).

When looking for enviable landscape design, who better to go to than the source? This landscape architecture firm shows off its perfect tree-lined driveways, simple-yet-elegant front lawns, and even some works in progress on this account.
Even if you don’t have a sprawling yard, you can still have a beautiful garden or green area. This Instagram account promotes a line of designer pots and planters, but even if you never buy one, you can get some great inspiration on how to create a gorgeous green set up with only a balcony or other small space.
If you want some outdoor eye candy in your feed, look no further than Lucas Lagoons, a pool design firm that creates over-the-top outdoor features, including slides, fire pits, and hot tubs, all surrounded by lush greenery. With famed pool designer Lucas Congdon, who also hosts the Animal Planet show Insane Pools Off The Deep-End, at the helm, you know you’re in for something wow-worthy. And while your pool may not be able to look exactly like one of theirs, reaching out to a local pool installer will get you one step closer to taking a dip in your own backyard.
If you’re just getting into landscape design, this is a great account to follow. Darren Bishop Landscape Design shows off their classic and clean backyard designs in Nashville so when you’re ready, you can contact a landscaping professional near you with a better idea of what might be possible for your space.
Take a trip to a ridiculously elegant French garden with Sharon Santoni, author of the fittingly titled My French Country Home. She posts photos of the blooms from her own garden, as well as some up-close views from the French countryside. But be warned...it might just inspire some wanderlust...or at least a call to a local gardening pro to get some blooms started.
“You see, every garden is beautiful. A new garden is beautiful. An old garden is beautiful. The garden built on nickels and dimes is beautiful. A garden of inheritance is beautiful...Take joy in your gardens my friends, not matter what size or type. Whether you’re a natural green thumber or can never seem to get your seeds to bloom, Danielle’s account is a must-follow. You’ll not only get your fair share of beautiful blooms, but also helpful tips that will set you up for success.

There are lots of classic designs on this list, but for those who enjoy a more modern take, architectural firm Marmol Radziner is definitely worth a follow. If your favorite part about landscape design is the deeply satisfying look of a crisp line, you’re going to want to follow this account immediately. Wesley Stout Associates is a landscape design and urban design firm that does a lot of work on golf and country clubs which means plenty of green edges to see here.

Sandra Cavallo may have named her Instagram after her lovely, steel-colored home, but for us, her lawn and garden take center stage, especially during the spring and summer. Whether you marvel at the welcome shrub-lined front door or the spacious lawn speckled with Adirondack chairs, you’ll wish you could take a vacation to this “shed.”
This landscape design studio account is one of the most unique on this list. You’ll find plenty of contemporary botanical designs, including geometrically shaped trees, overflowing meadows of flowers and bright blooms that will give you a fresh perspective.
