Lisa Gauthier Mitchison is a veteran writer and editor from Indianapolis, Indiana. After graduating from the University of Evansville, she began her journalism career in 1996 and has been with Angi since 2019. She discovered her love of home improvement and landscaping when she bought a 100-plus-year-old house, where she lives with her husband, son, cats, hamsters, and various fish.
