"We are not sure where [Member name removed] dissatisfaction originates from. To date, he has not contacted us with any complaints suggesting that he was unhappy with our service. We feel we have acted in good faith and with a courteous, responsive and professional manner. The following is a timeline of events: [Member name removed] made initial contact with us on 06/19/14 and we met with him the following day for the estimate. We emailed the proposal to him on 06/23/14 (the next business day after the estimate). [Member name removed] requested some changes on 06/24/14 and we re-sent the proposal with the requested changes on 06/26/14. [Member name removed] accepted the original proposal on 06/30/14 and we emailed confirmation of acceptance on 06/30/14. On 07/03/14 at 2:26 PM, we received and inquiry from [Member name removed] about the scheduling of the work. We responded to the email on 07/03/14 at 2:52 PM – giving an approximate timeframe of 2 to 3 weeks based on our existing workload. We completed the work on 07/18/14 (within the estimated timeframe given). It was a small and simple job – the removal of some shrubs and stumps. There was very little room for error. We expected that the job went well and the customer was happy. [Member name removed] never called to say otherwise. It is a mystery to us why he rated us below average."
- He's very knowledgeable about different species and how to maintain, care for them
- Asked the crew to come back and trimmed the branches further, they did it without giving me excuses.
- Would use their service again in the future.
We were told that our trimming would be scheduled three to four weeks from contract signing. Karen, his office assistant, surprised me within two weeks and told me the crew was arriving the next day. I'd have to say, this is the only fault I have of their service. I had yet to prepare our yard for their arrival. In order for the work to be completed I needed to remove a fence which I had not done. Now I had to do this with one nights notice. I was not a happy camper. I was expecting more notice.
The crew arrived on time the next day and were very cordial and friendly. The worked hard through out the day and got done early. Kevin showed up early in the morning and made sure they knew their marching orders. For the most part, they left without leaving a trace of their presence. One larger limb made a small dent to my deck railing and there were a few deep divots in the lawn. I suppose with all the work needed to be done, this was to be expected.
Two months have passed since our work was completed and I notice they missed two dead limbs on one tree in our backyard. I'm not sure why they were missed, maybe they didn't know they were dead? I plan to contact them to ask to send a climber out to finish the job. We'll see...
Overall, working with Greenleaf was pleasant and I'd use them again. I trust Kevin and his crew.
